Arts Committee Minutes 10/20/2011

Also Glennis did attend but not the entire meeting
Reading of the minutes from yesterday.
Setting of Agenda.
Discussion of mission, goals, guidelines and principles for Arts Committee. Will continue to review OWS document and other occupation Arts Committee guidelines. Will revisit tomorrow.
Discussion of Outreach programs toward the Arts Committee. Decided will revisit after more infrastructure in place.
Discussion of limitations facing Arts Committee and brainstorming how to work around. Will revisit again tomorrow.
Discussion of dates and times for activities:
Tomorrow, 10/21: 3:30 Expressive Arts Session – goal of making Declaration Signs to be facilitated by Katharine
Monday, 10/24: 5:00 Open Poetry Mic to be facilitated by Alex
Tuesday, 10/25: 4:00 Expressive Arts Session – goal undecided but to be facilitated by Beth, Katharine and Alex
Wednesday, 10/26: 3:30 Pumpkin painting with sharpies – to be facilitated by ?
All committee members will continue to try to nail down artists to come soon to create onsite
